TPS Page

Auction.com is the nation's leading online real estate marketplace focused exclusively on selling residential bank-owned and foreclosed properties. (TPS) Third-Party Sales page redesign.

Some Context

  • Third-Party Sales (TPS) is 65% of the business.
  • The product team needed to establish trust with the business.
  • Our TPS experience did not provide unique value to users.
  • Banks questioned the value Auction.com added to their revenue.

Our Hypothesis

A better customer experience for TPS will increase user engagement, resulting in higher revenue per property and improved property salability.

How did we get here????

The Strategy

As the lead designer for this project, I teamed up with a group of engineers, project management, and various business stakeholders to successfully launch the TPS PDP in sit-in customer interviews and a design sprint.

Design Sprint

What we discovered.

  • New Design structure of the TPS PDP
  • Status change notifications

What did we learn?

To cut to the point, it was a success when we launched—some insights into the whole project:

  • Your prized design will not always perform well.
  • Working with multiple teams and stakeholders is not always easy and brings many challenges.

But fortunately, I enjoy challenges. If you surround yourself with like-minded individuals, you may not achieve the desired outcome you are looking for.
